Normally if you add 20mm to the fork length, is slackens everything off by 1 degree.

Now if you slacken the headangle by 1 degree using an angleset, would that actually steepen the seatube by 1 degree?

Yes. If you want to slacken the head angle but keep the seat angle the same you need to either adjust the fork length or use offset bushes (or both) as well.

I don't think it will - it'll steepen the ST [b]slightly[/b], due to the fact that as the head angle is slacker the front of the bike will be a bit lower (and the wheelbase a bit longer).

It will slacken the SA by a bit but its not noticable. However offset bushings are very noticeable on the SA.
