I realise it was built to show off the printers capabilities not as a better bike, but it doesn't seem to have any advantage over a conventional bike, so I'm left thinking that given the time to design print and assemble the rest of the bike around it, there is zero advantage over a traditional design. Seems a shame as integrated mudguards, aero design and optimised engineering for light yet strong should all have been within reach of the technology...

Quill stem - check
Flat handlebars - check
Shite wheels - check
Outrageously expensive for very averagely performing bike - probably

There's hundreds of organic coffee curators in London that would spill their soya in their undies over that.

Looks like someone uploaded the FEA mesh to the 3D printer instead of the actual CAD surface.
