Angus costal trail -Any good, cant find much info on it apart from links to a book,i see its used as part of the central belter route
It's a means to an end -my my old training routes were mostly done on there (I was based in arbroath()
By the same tune I've ridden multiples of coastal routes on a regular basis. (many different trails depending on how coastal you remain ) between st Andrews and stonehaven .
They will get you someplace , it has spectacular coastal views on the right day but unless you live in the inner city somewhere far from the sea I wouldn't travel too far to ride the trails.
I'm just over the water in fife was going to do a Dundee to Montrose and back ,go up that way a lot by train always thought it looked a nice ride.
In a trundling along and seeing shit it is good . Actual trails are a bit tame.
If your not traveling far you'll have a blast. I'd be a bit pissed if I drove past good trails to get to it. Arbroath to auchmithie is probably the best bits in terms of trails. When you see a sign for seaton den- head straight inland from the sea. Ride up to the road -turn round and ride back to the cliffs
