The place in France - not the emotion.
Going there for a week over easter hols and wondered which bike to take (29er or CX) and what there will be to do on it?
Your recommendations please.....

I was there for a week's holiday a long, long time ago. I was about 12 or 13.
I have very fond memories of the place, although I can only remember a couple of things about it.
There are huge numbers of mosquitoes that will sit on the ceiling until it's time for them to dive-bomb your face as you're trying to get to sleep. It was while trying to hunt down and kill the mosquitoes in the middle of the night that I found it on top of the wardrobe.

I have no idea what bike would be best around there, as I didn't go out much after that. But personally, I would pack mosquito repellant. And tissues.

Toured through there last summer. Didn't notice vast amounts of obvious off road. I'd take the CX. Lovely area though.
