There's a man having fun with his bikes, in the way that works for him, and doing no harm to anyone.

One of us then.

What's the problem? I took my Pitch for a spin round the estate last night, do I deserve a thread chastising it's underuse?

Do we know he doesn't spend the rest of his time riding the BDS races?

the guy looks like an accountant....but he has some seriously nice bikes, especially the Brooklyn, not too sure about the long stem on the Ellsworth though....
the guy's clearly very passionate about mtb'ing so fair play to him

Im on my second frame since Sep 2011. So bad analogy.

On the OP so what? Robin Williams has over 25 roadbikes etc.

Thats ACE. Unless you are jealous of another man..

I'm on my 4th bike in 19 years. Had the current one 3 or 4 years (not sure), it's predecessor 3-4 years, the concurrent hardtail 15 years (and counting) and the pile of scrap before that 4 years.

Maybe you have different priorities?

Maybe the person who loves topend audio kit but has average ears.

Should he chose a Denon entry instead?

Or enjoy life as everyone is different

Yeah but don't video it.

I love all those spacers ready to rip his nads off if he ever got beyond the tow path.

Last days of Rome...

Any new bike/fork, I ride with spacers above/below for a while after I've built it up, in order to:

A. Ensure I've got the stack height right before I cut the steerer too short.

B. find out if I like it before I cut the steerer too much to reduce its value for selling on.

it looks like he doesnt know anything about bikes but thinks that by buying the most expensive bike he will be getting the best (which he might be be, but those dh bikes dont really seem to fit with what he wants/can do)

Touchy?

I merely commented on my lack of bikes, not knocking anyone for having many. Have as many as you like, good on you - I'd probably like more myself, if I ever rode the bloody things.

Ha! Ha!

I'm wondering how such an obvious plank can afford the time/cash to be so imbecilic. I'm working six days a week and have had the spare time to ride a bike once in 3 months.

Oh well, I'm doing something wrong.

In my experience people who are unkind for no good reason are the absolute worst kind of people. The guys doing what he likes, where's the problem?

What's the problem here?

I really don't understand why you'd start a thread just to bully someone who you don't know and who clearly enjoys what he is doing.

If I bought a super car and only drove it up and down the street who am I hurting?

I'm confused here?!

This.
The thing I noticed most was how happy he looked in every photo, so whatever he's doing is working well for him.

He paid his money, he's happy and he's not bothering you,
What's your problem.

A lot of people seem to concern themselves with what other people are riding, how they are riding it and what they are wearing when they are riding it.

Why, just enjoy yourself.

I am sure he's a nice bloke and I know who I would rather go for a drink with.
