Instructions say dry with heat, instinct and experience (but not with ams honeycomb) say slightly soapy water. I really don't like bubbles under the wrap.....

Anybody have experience either way?

Did mine with heat. It's quite stiff compared to helitape and the heat did seem to help a lot with conformance.

Deffo heat. It's a pia otherwise. Wife's hairdryer was sufficient

Having just done it I think using some mild soapy water spray to position the stickers followed by heating and lots of squeegee to fix down is the way. Hair dryer only was not an acceptable finish imo and stickers too stiff without heating to confirm to curves easily.

Hopefully they will stick....

When I did my set on either my first Bird or the AM9 V1 it went on dry. It lasts really well, great adhesion and much tougher than helitape/Invisiframe.

My V2 is raw but I'm not sure it's the same raw as the Aeries9, they added a clear coat at some point I believe.

Cool. I think mine is without, so there is some pitting and the logos are showing some wear but the metal can be shined up easily.

Not sure how the clearcoated raw suffers from heelrub etc and obviously you can't buff it up the same but as I say the AMS stuff is good and it's what I have picked this time round also.
