Thinking of getting my old 1986 road frame re sprayed.
It'll crack when I ride it won't it 😐
I'm stupidly attached to this bike, and I'm trying to tease as much life out of it's aging six speed equipment. Yet it still gets ridden very hard on club training runs.
Don't know, but I'm thinking about getting my made to measure Dave Lloyd frame (circa 85) re-sprayed, let me know if you survive!
🙂
Had my quote from Ellis Briggs. Going Tangerine enamel, keeping the chrome forks and chainstay.
I found that a modern 130mm wheel slips straight in. So when the old Shimano 600EX dies I can modernise it.
Would love to see this when its done, I have a serious thing for much loved old frames!
