[Closed] Aluminium Frame 'Respray' - Brushed Finish?

Hi, having agreed a deal for a frame off the classifieds that is in need of a paint job I have been toying with ideas for what to go with once the old paint has been removed.

I quite like the idea of stripping it back to bare alu and either having it polished or getting a brushed finish to it.

Anyone got any suggestions for me how to get a nice looking brushed finish and what I would have to do afterwards for preserving the finish, and more importantly the integrity of the frame structually?

Is it a crap plan with major flaws? I have a couple of weeks to decide my course of action and I am in no real rush to get the frame built up, it's more of a project.
