Can anyone shed any light on Aluminium frames or complete bikes available that will take a nice fat(ish) 29er tyre? Talking in the region of 2.5-2.6 inch? Incidentally I don't want a 27.5+ frame butchered to take a 29".
Thanks.
Hardtails or full suss? A BMC Trailfox or Trek Remedy will both take a 2.5 minion in the rear. I think that's probably an Actual 2.4 to be fair.
Sorry, a hardtail yes.
New Chameleon supposed to be able to take up to 2.5 in the rear. I've ordered a frame but not here until June apparently.
That'll do essentially whatever you want and more, and is pretty bloody mind blowing to ride.
Zealous Division mk2 will take a 2.5" Minion in the back as long as the rim isn't super wide.
I've just put 2.6 Nobby Nics front and rear on a 2Souls Quartehorse...
Ah sorry, it's steel and not light... please ignore
trek stache
Canfield Yelli Screamy will take a 2.5 DHF on a Flow EX.
