really like my fox defend trousers for being slightly heavier weight and more abrasion resistant, however the grinding paste that passes for peak district mud has worn through the crotch / arse area in less than 4 months (obviously not that abrasion resistant!).
going to try and effect a repair, but suspect it wont be long until their not usable, so looking for an alternative replacement - something a little more robust, autumn / winter focused but don't need to be waterproof / insulated, have decent closure / belt / ratchet system to resist the pressure (no velcro only tabs etc) of the gut and have XL sizes that actually fit XL sized riders!
any recommendations as there's so many riding trousers around these days
