My compressor came with a crap tyre inflator and I would like to replace it. The Park Tools inflator is £134 which is a but much and I wondered if anyone could recommend something good quality but cheaper that would do presto and Schrader valves. Any suggestions?
Thanks
Richard
There are a few mentioned here:

Standard car inflators can be had for about a tenner
Buy one, cut the the head off and fit a brass Topeak presta super chuck, that has an adaptor for occasional Shrader use.
Total, £30
It's what I used before I got my Park INF, the Park is better but this solution worked fine for me whilst I was a skint bike shop worker.
I really didn't like the superchuck but other'n that yeah, the nice thing is you can just find a pump head you like and use that.
I fitted my favourite track pump head to a generic car inflator. That way you can have push on, lever, auto etc for presta/schraeder as you prefer, and easy spare parts or seals.
Lidl track pump is all you need. Can't believe the even the Airshot is 50quid now!
