Am looking for a s/h hardtail for my son and daughter to use for odd trips when back from Uni - local trails, blues and reds in BPW etc - a used Orange Crush is the obvious option (and I'm a bit of an Orange fan) but am open to suggestions.

So - 130-150mm travel H/T, 27.5 or 29 - available used for >£800 with a reasonable fork - Yari etc

Pp oka for up to 140mm. Far better/nicer frame than a crush.

Seen an oka go locally with ok kit on it for 800

What size do you need? A friend has a little used Bird Zero TR in M/L which would probably be in budget.

You could get a 26" Five in budget. Better trail centre bike than a hard tail for an occasional rider imo, especially at BPW

Bagstard - sounds about right size wise - amy more info?

Nickjb - sold my old 2009 26 Five for less - may be worth looking for a late 26er
