Yeah, last month, in Rose Cottage. Nice owners, nice house and the local pub is canny. The trails are an easy, flat, short ride away too.

We did a last minute trip to Afan a year back and found camping accommodation at Glyncorrwg Ponds visitor centre - Lovely place, decent shower and bike cleaning facilities as well as a cafe and bike shop.

A little further away but I stayed here www.cowbridgecabins.co.uk last year, it was pretty basic but cheap and biker friendly.

Windways who if I remember correctly is a house right opposite Afan Lodge.

Looking on GoogleMaps opposite Afan Lodge it's the house with dark roofs, a curved drive & two cars parked out the front.

It can sleep a load of people, is a bit tired but a perfectly good place to stay - and you can nip over to the Afan Lodge for a beer & some food if you desire.

3 of us stayed there a few years ago & I think is only cost £65 each for 2 nights.

The Queens B&B is very good, and depending on numbers and duration probably not much more expensive.
