Hi all,
I'm after recommendations for somewhere to head out riding next summer in the Alps but am unable to find anywhere that does guiding only as most places like TA only want to sell accommodation and guiding as a package and don't offer guiding on its own.

There will be min 3, max 6 of us needing guiding.

Happy to go anywhere but it needs to be not super expensive, within a days drive from the UK, and have good singletrack riding, ideally with lift assist.

Les Arcs would tick all the boxes but I can't find a guide only option.
Open to suggestions?
Cheers in advance
WJ

@wavejumper - the all in one packages are great value. IME trying to buy guiding only is often more expensive than the whole package from TA/White Room etc. For example guiding by the day in Verbier is about £300, MCF guides in PdS are about £250. I am sure there is an MCF school around Les Arcs, look them up online and you'll see what I mean.

From memory I paid £400-ish for a week with TA at Destination X, hotel, half board, guiding, van uplift. Very good value. You couldn't possibly replicate that.

If your thinking of Les Arcs then with a bit of research you can find a few days riding easily by yourself and the good stuff in La Thule is actually the marked trails.
If you want some guiding and there are six of you I would try a couple of thecoolbus away days, which work out OK per person if your groups big enough.
