I spent the long, hot and sunny Easter weekend in the South of France with the mountain bike, and what a weekend it was.
I had a few days guided by 1001 Sentiers Greg Gremain the local mountain bike guru,i was told he know 600km of Mtb trails and the one's I sample was up there with the best I have ever riding.
The fact I don't speak French didn't make a difference as he spoke perfect English and explained about the trails and history of the areas to me after he had spoke to the other French riders ( most spoke English too).
Here is a write up from a day of uplifts on the famous grey earth of the Mercantour park and its well worth a visit.

Had a little push up session at the bottom of Leogang the other day, couldn't use the lifts as it was the last days of the ski season.
We only had the Capra's not the downhill bikes but they coped fine.

Back there in a few weeks for half term.
