Was just looking at body armour options and noticed these:

It says "an additional Kevlar safety layer for wearing over knee guards" but wondering if they could just be used on bare knees as skin protection...?
so they are designed to wear over other knee pads right??? so pad for the pad?? OK I guess you could but sizing may be an issue
I used to have some 661 knee sock things that I used to wear over Dainese leg armour which was notorious for shifting on impact.
I ended up wearing them on their own as minor knee protection/ for warmth. they were fine for the most part, it was just that the elasticated parts weren't designed for being next to skin so would chafe on longer or wet rides.
might be a similar thing with these.
