Looking for somewhere to go on holiday this year,
Somewhere in Europe - Not morzine!! or les deux alpes/alpe d’huez.
Self catered, self guided, cheap accommodation for 8-12
Some bikepark with a good amount of lift assisted natural stuff.
Had thoughts of Andorra but not sure on accommodation and how easy it is to find natural stuff without a guide. Swiss riding is great, been to verbier for a couple of days riding and that was a great mix – bit expensive over there though?
Heard lots of good things about Sauze d’oulx but not sure there is enough riding to keep us all entertained for a week long trip.
Chamonix is on the list for one day in the future.
What places have great riding that I haven't considered yet?
We were in Andorra in 2013. It's steep!
Played in the Vallnord bike park for a bit but you wouldn't want to do a week there,
Did loads of natural riding too, most of which was excellent, even saw Mr Gracia doing the same natural route as us! 😯
Natural trails aren't that popular over there, they exist of course buy locals either stay in the bike park or ride along the road. I'd say that, without proper guiding, there's little of no chance of finding natural trails unless you like wasting time.
We were with a guiding company though or we wouldn't gave had a clue where to ride. Singletrack Safari if you are interested. Holiday was hard to fault yo be honest.
