I've read some posts mentioning running different ratios when single speeding - Anyone any advice running an Alfine 29er?

I think I'm on 18 / 33. Can check next week as that bike is in Aberdeen and I'm not.

Tried a few combos and settled on 32-21.

I went for 32:18 as it meant that I could easily swap it with a singlespeed wheel which also had an 18T sprocket. It feels like it gives a similar range to a 'normal' middle ring/cassette combination.

When I had one, I ran 34/22 on it. Basically, I worked out what I thought would be ideal on a 26" wheel bike (34/20 for me) and just increased the rear cog size by 10% to take into account for the larger wheel.
