I have had all the usual problems with this hub over the last couple of years. Poor changing etc. I did all the right things regarding adjustment but it was never really good. I used that bike less and less. However, it does have advantages in the winter for a muddy slog, so out it came and I gave it an oil change and new cables set up with precision.
Mmmm.. lovely quiet operation and smooth changes….but wait a minute high gear - low gear - high gear! I now have a hub which moves up and down ratios in alternate steps. Cannot find any reference to this on the web. Any ideas (I have all the tech docs and done all the measurements etc)
