Going to want a balance bike soon for my daughter ... Worth a punt or avoid?

I have no experience of the Aldi one, but I'd be wary of the lack of brakes. The Run-Ride from Decathlon is £10 cheaper and has a rear brake. My wee one has been on it since he was about 20 months. He's now almost 4 and still rides it to nursery even though he can ride a pedal bike (he's not so good on hills - up or down).

Not used one of these, but at that price on eBay there is quite a choice. Kiddimoto are fun, and Early Rider have really good geometry. Resale on Early Rider is very good, so overall cost is quite low.

Looks very similar to the chillafish one.

My daughter has the decathlon bike in the link above. It's well made for the money.

I tried one but I didn't like the one-size fits all idea, it was just too small. Couldn't get comfortable on it at all even with wider bars. Although it was quite flickable.
