Of interest to me and maybe others…
New airdrop filter is out. MX, 150/140 trail bike with an empathise on fun.
They do look amazing in raw (quite like the blue too).
I’m in the market for a trail bike so currently working out why I wouldn’t buy one. I’m sure there lighter cheaper etc out there but they do look a lot of fun. The builds aren’t cheap but with no shortcuts in spec you’d not be looking at upgrades for quite a while. Anyone got their eye on one?
I saw one in the flesh a couple of months back and honestly it made my decision to buy the Edit so much more difficult.
Ultimately I got such a good deal I couldn't turn the Edit down - and it rides so well... but if it ends up being too much bike for what I can realistically (and confidently) ride on a regular basis then I'll move the build over to a filter frame. Looks like the perfect UK trail bike.
I really want one, looks like my ideal kind of bike on paper. Good amount of travel and seems built for fun rather than plough. Will have to try and demo one at some point, then figure out how the hell I'm going to afford it 🙂
Like the look of that and definitely the sort of thing I could be interested in when I'm probably going to be bike shopping next spring.

It is fortunate that I wasn't aware of this when I bought my Edit MX a few weeks ago or I may have been swayed. I think it will be a great bike but last week in the Alps I was very happy to have more suspension and Maven brakes
I really like Airdrop bikes and my Edit Mx is great, even if I've not quite dialled the setup yet.
This new frame is only 150g lighter than the Edit. That makes me wonder what parts are common. Is it just a rocker and shock change?
If so, it might be fun it be able to switch between the two
