home serviced my pikes last weekend and rode them last night though noticed whilst the initial plushness has improved massively, but they now ramp up quite dramatically now in the last third of their travel, didn't even get the last 40mm of travel

new seals, slick grease on them, all the correct oil levels/types etc. used

they had about 120ml of oil in the top of the motion control damper but nothing in the air chamber, so i put in the recommended 6ml of 15wt oil in the air chamber

should i reduce the 6ml in the air chamber or an amount from the damper side?

reserviced them, and reduced the oil in both top chambers and the problem has gone away

Too much oil in the Moco side will cause what you said.
