Been pondering a softshell jacket lately, not cycling specific as I intend to use it for walking etc. Hoping to keep the price to around the £70 range.

Looked at the RAB stuff, gets good reviews so that's an option. Tried on a Northface Durango today which was nice aswell, anything else worth considering?

Not a cold tattie so doesn't have to be winter specific.

I got a really simple tog24 one for £20.

Wasn't expecting much, but have been wearing it 12 hours a day at work for the last few months and I love it. Comfy, warm and very durable.
Washed one a week and still looks brand new.

I've recently bought another for none work duties.

I did see that Montane one and like it alot, was hoping to avoid black! Sick of seeing a wardrobe of dark colours. Where did you get the Tog one from Neal?

I've got a hardly worn north face apex in a medium I've been meaning to sell. £30 edit: black though sorry.

From the tog24 shop in skipton. But they are on their website at the moment (they are £25 quid now)

Still brilliant for the money though.
