doing the Trans Cambrian and need something more waterproof/breathable than what I currently have which just sweats the living day lights out of me, any recommendations,, on a budget really and really compact to fit in my bib liner 🙂

I’ve just bought a Pearl Izumi packaway off ProBikeKit for less than £50. Seems OK, probably as robust as any of these things…

Slightly over budget, you can pick up a Gore C3 Gore-Tex Paclite Hooded Jacket on eBay BNWT from £60-80 depending on size. I recently brought one from Evans eBay store for £70, it's been used in a day of heavy rain on a bike packing trip & I really liked it (it's my first GoreTex garment).
