First need for a blind bearing puller on a frame with dual 6801 bearings presse from opposite sides.
There was a half decent press kit so just wondering on recommendations for a half decent blind puller solution?
they do non windout ones but the amount of hammering I had to apply to get my back to back levo lower bearings out was so stressful that I went for a windout one for next time (and I couldn’t bodge the existing one so I could wind it out, )
you can get generic ones that cover a range of sizes but in my (very limited blind bearing) experience unless the fit is really good they sometimes don’t come out.
yep, I'd definitely prefer wind out to drift type.
Looks like single case by case purchases might have to be the way with the pricier tools.
I've back to backs (with a thrust spacer) and inner shoulder that weren't aligned properly at the factory so the pivot bolt doesn't actually fit between the inner races :/
Factory assembled with loctite so no chance of realigning without removing
Bearback,, apologies, Sorry that the wrong link, ignore it (*it’s for std frame bearings not bk to bk)

I spoke to them after levo stress and they said they were doing a wind out one hence incorrect post above, they don’t seem to have doneone, used this one on my back to back with spacer in the middle levo bearings, it worked but the effort I had to put into hammering out certainly increased my heart rate,

As @towzer said, I think wind-out is the way to go if there's no axle/spacer in-between them that could get damaged.
I almost bought one of these https://www.bearingprotools.com/products/bearing-puller
Then I realised a drop-in anchor might work. The problem I had was that the spacer in-between the wheel bearings was flush against the inner races... so I needed something that wouldn't damage that Alu spacer when extracting, that would allow me to tap it out from the middle.
Sorry bearback, really w****ered my post, apologies, you need the v2 one above to compress into the bearing from one side and then pull it out from the same side, once I had fitted it I just could not find/bodge a way of turning it into a windout, (or pushing it out from the other side ) using the frame as leverage, so had to hammer it much, much harder than I was comfortable with (and you need to tighten it up like an angry farmer before hammering),
stone me, they have done a windout one but it is levo specific, to just the Horst bearings
