If you know what hill they are on (the one with masts, as can be seen on google maps) you can use Strava or trailforks. be warned a couple of pedal ups will finish most people for the day.

We sure did.. Fantastic trails! We were lucky enough to Hook up with a local lad ( Thanks Rob ) who showed us quite a few trails. Cant remember all the names but Scalextric was great flowy singletrack fun & Flush ? was the kind of steep ive only ridden abroad. Would absolutely love to go back really love these sort of trails. I hear on the grapevine theres plenty more out that way too :O)

Ambrose, the boys will be around to silence you, if you’re not careful. 😂

(It’s too steep for me!)

Need to check out way more South Wales stuff. Fod is just so close to me though! Barry sidings is rad. Very keen to check out some of the other hidden gems if anyone fancies a day out!

I'd not heard of Loamworld before. Another to add to the list.

Any others not already mentioned?

Are the trails at Barry Sidings easy to find/ get to the top of?
I have a customer that's pretty close to there...

Yeah they are. Head up the main fireroad to the top and you'll see them snaking off along the way.

Some of it would require a pointer in the right direction but plenty is obvious. Trailforks shows some of them. I particularly loved the blue on the far right and the black through the coal tip. Both have some unusual aspects for the area.

Loamworld is pretty wild, some of it is another step up from Masts and Barry Sidings stuff, but some easier stuff there too it's very raw and natural steep tech 🙂

I’m slowly chipping through the spots and happy to explore but if anyone wants to give away any hints or pointers that would be amazing! Would offer swaps for fod secrets but I don’t think there are any left!
