Im always aprehensive about riding scalectric tracks and try avoid riding them too much as a lot of people get trapped into just doing them weekend after weekend but i went to afan on Sun/Mon and it was great!

Did the W2 (Whites & Wall) and then the one beginning with P and really enjoyed it, the trails really flow well.

Its been a few years since i was down but very impressed indeed. Who was behind the building of these out of interest?

Also very HT friendly, well most of it, and turbo fast, like fast to a piont of scaring myself, over 30 on tight singletrack is the one!

Thats it really!

Trail centres are good fun, imho! Some folk will bash them because they're not 'real' riding. They're probably the ones in full body armour on a full susser skill compensator 😉 Not every ride cross country is the epic soul touching drama people make out. But terms such as scaletric tracks do trail centres no favours at all. Like you say, it's how you take them on which dictates how much fun you have or how brown your shorts are at the end.

I think it does you good to do a trail centre once in a while. With epic rides you have to be cautious about other trail users, with a TC you can leave off the brakes just that bit more. 🙂
