I found this on the afan forest website.
The red is the existing skyline and whites loop
note the yellow line. it follows up the existing whites/skyline climb then down the other side of the mountain into the glynneath valley. loads of lines etc looks good!

there are going to be a hell of alot of wind turbines going in over the next year or two. and because of that and the disruption the turbine contractors have issued £350,000 for the new trails!
on a bad note... alot of felling on the wooded hillside on the initial whites/skyline climb

🙁
There is a massive amount of working going on there at the moment.
We were up there on Saturday, they were officially launching the new bike park.
The start of W2 and skyline has been changed (temp?) and is incredibly steep at the moment, I guess it’s going to be a decent.
yeah I noticed that.
I also found this info
Riders will follow the Whites Level and W2 trails as normal until
the first hairpin corner on the climb. From here a new trail has
been cut to join with a traversing section of the Skyline descent.
• Outbound riders on the Whites Level/W2 trail and returning
riders on the Skyline trail will merge and travel in the same
direction for approximately 50 metres.
• At the next hairpin the trails split and returning riders will
descend along the normal Skyline descent and outbound
Whites Level/W2 trail riders will climb on a new cut section of
trail which will take them up to the bridleway where they will
rejoin the old section of climb.
• From here the Whites Level/W2 climb continues as normal.
