You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Is anyone running this configuration? For "reasons", I might want a rack on my Topstone occasionally. TBH I'm just a bit reticent about the Aeroe as it looks a bit industrial for a skinny frame, even though it's fine on my Fatbike. (I could just about fit the fat version on to gauge the looks of the thing but it's obviously way too wide to actually be used.)Â Â
I use an Aero with my Whippet, but I have once or twice switched it onto my Pinnacle Arkose. It does look a bit odd, but I haven't had any problems using it - in fact it feels a little more secure on the gravel bike.

I think it might have been you who recommended the Aero to me in the first place. If there's anything specific you'l like to know ask away.
I use one on a ti gravel. Thicker stays than a carbon bike but still fine carrying a fairly large weight.
Last few times out,I used my seatpost rack(Topeak mtx),with braces to the seatstays as I had it loaded up.
Had a large drybag longways, but it was still a fairly narrow setup. Â

Not a gravel bike, but I used my rack on my carbon Stumpjumper FS on a 6 day self supported trip (Trans Cambrian and Traws Eryri trails) last September. I had 2 x 12ltr dry bags and my tent on the rack and it was fine. In fact I did overload the bike a bit, also had a handlebar dry bag and 2 fork bags and it was fine even on some gnarly off road descents. I think most bikes are stronger than you think.    Â
My aeroe set up from last month in Morocco. Ti Enigma with front & rear racks. I think its great, quick and easy to pack and attach.
