Just an advisory note - came across a branch placed deliberately at wheel height on the bridleway which drops down into Shortbank Road in Skipton. The offending item was on the track just before the quarry at Jenny Gill Wood.
Might just be kids, but there are some dog walkers of legendary grumpiness up there.
It was pretty obvious from a distance, but I know it's a fairly popular spot for nightriding and people should just keep 'em peeled if they're riding it fast.
