Hello

I have a Specialized 2015 Enduro elite 650b mountain bike, which my son has been riding for last few years and I've forgotten how parts of it look. I was certain that the bike was missing a bolt on the drive side of the main pivot after I was inspecting it this evening. I'm hoping that someone else here may have the same bike and can take a quick look - post a piccie!

On the non drive side there is a large nut head on the long bolt to put your allen key into. That goes through the non drive side rear chain stay and then through the Frame.

The bolt then goes through the frame and screws into the lower chain stay on the drive side.

There is no allen key head on the drive side for the main pivot - as the main bolt screws into the lower chain stay and I cannot feel any thread around there.

So now I think all is ok and its not dropped a bolt.

Very long shot, but is Anyone able to take a look on their old enduro to see if there is a bolt on the drive side main pivot?

Thanks

I think the Specialized Status has the same rear end as that (or it's the later model). Shouldn't be a nut or anything on the driveside. The axle just screws into the chainstay:

The diagram shows the main pivot bolt threads into the drive side chain stay.

edit-can't post the link or an image, check:
