*glee at cheesy thread title*

Apart from Hellfrauds, DIY emporia and my model shop, where can I get a choice of paints for touching up a frame? Tried 2 already, not quite there (tricky - metallic gold)

Try asking a young female about nail varnish.

Take the bike to a local automotive paint shop and they should be able to match the colour from a swatch and mix a small amount that can be put into a 400ml pro aerosol, all for around a tenner (as long as the colour is not too out of the ordinary). A word of advice though, don't call in during the busier parts of the day as you wont get the kind of service levels you need.

PS Halfords don't have the right type of staff for this kind of thing IMO.
