Hi all
I have just bought a unused 2012 fox van rc 190x50 for my 2010 transition covert, my question is will the coil in the link below hold my weight 113.5 kg ? And fit my shock ?
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/nukeproof-shockwave-titanium-spring/rp-prod15605
I have used a couple of different spring calculators but keep getting different answers, so not sure if I would need the 700lb or 650lb spring ?
Again any help will be greatly excepted
Cheers
Tom
Bump! Please guys just a yes or no
I've just looked for the specs and its showing that the rear shock is a 190x50 and the rear travel is 5.9".
Upon entering those details along with your weight into tftuned's calculator on the firm/ freeride setting, its showing that you'll need at least a 700lb spring......maybe even a 750.
Personally I would buy a steel coil as they are weighted to a closer tolerance than ti.
Ti could can be quite a way out from what's actually written on the coil.
