I've managed to strip the thread on one of my pedal Ti axles - not the axle-to-crank thread but on the other end where the nut fastens the pedal body to the axle. It's a LH/M6 thread and the existing threads are now pretty rounded - it's not cross threaded, more stripped-off.
My first action will be to try a thread-die in M6/LH to try and re-cut the thread but if this doesn't work then what are my options (other than trying to cut it down to an M5 thread, which may be difficult given it's Ti?)?
The old straitline pedals used a small circlip to hold the pedal body in place. Maybe if you could cut a little notch in the axle and fit a suitably sized clip that might work?

Will a normal die work with Ti, or would you need something more specialist?
