I need some advice on pricing a bike for sale.

I have a brompton, six speed, flat bar that is taking up space in the loft.

Now it was bought ex-demo and looking at prices on ebay which seems to be north of £800 for similar spec.

What should I be pricing it for? Does it matter it was ex-demo.

The bike cost me just shy of £900

thanks

Thanks helpful, what I really want to know is what I need to price it reasonably without having to resort to ebay.

Ex demo makes no odds, it's just a 2nd hand bike. Completed listings will give you an idea.
Or, choose a price, advertise and if no one bites drop price..repeat until sold

When I was looking at Bromptons their demo bikes were in a different paint scheme to identify them as such, so that might have a slight negative effect on the price.

Deejayen, you are right the demo are an off grey, which I think is now a standard colour.

Ad is up anyway, lol so hopefully I have priced it fairly.

Stevied, Thanks, I wasn't sure if ex-demo would be an issue or not.

Don't do ebay too expensive to sell now. In dispute with ebay trying to charge me twice once when sold and now as periodic invoice...
