I have been given a new 2014 Yeti SB 75 ,  unfortunately the frame is too large ( it is a medium but the seat tube is 19.5 ) - looking to take all the parts off it (Fork is a Fox 34 27.5 Kashima factory / shock is a Fox Float CTD / group set SRAM X9 2*10 ) and build up on an alternative frame - any suggestions welcome ; obviously another Yeti would be lovely but can't afford it

Thanks

Probably worth starting by being clearer on your idea of reasonable and if you're looking for new or secondhand.

That said, I guess you also need to decide if you expect to be able to reuse the shock and 2x transmission since a lot of newer frames will be 1x specific or take a different shock length... plus things like boost

Thanks , have spent time doing more research and it seems in the last 4 years MTB s have advanced far more than road bikes ( with the exception of electronic shifting ) in terms of gearing and standards - so I am going to find the bike a new home as a whole ( shame I am too old to grow in to it )

Shame but probably wise - 'advanced' is a contentious word but they've certainly 'changed' a lot!
