Boost 29er I think.

Ive tried a boost 27.5 fork with a 29er tyre, it didn’t fit, that was a Reba.

27.5+ forks are the same lowers as 29er forks from fox.
There is also a 34 27.5plus fork with a wider crown and consequently wider lowers..also fits 29.
So for fox, it it says 27.5+/29 you're g2g.

I have some X fusion McQueen HLR roughcut forks in classifieds. They're 27.5+ boost forks but they can be run with 27.5+ or 29" wheels with plenty of clearance. I've run them with both on my cotic solaris.

All forks are boost now aren't they? I think 27.5+/29er forks are probably generally interchangable but I wouldn't have thought that many regular 27.5 or 29er forks would take 27.5+ wheels.

Running a Manitou Magnum Boost 100mm 27.5+ with a 29" wheel and 2.4 tyre. Plenty of room.

27.5 boost lyrik definitely won’t take a 29.

I have some 27.5+(29") Revelations and some 27.5 Z1s. All the wheels seem swappable, with no unacceptable clearance issues.

A 2.8 Butcher on a 39mm inner rim fits in the 27.5 Z1.

It seems pointless to buy 27.5 forks now. The short offset 29er forks will work fine on most 27.5 frames. They are only a about 1cm longer. Then you can run any wheel size you like.

I have a set of 27.5” Boost Yaris, they took a 27.5 x 2.8” tyre but would only barely take a 29 x 2.1” low profile XC tyre when I swapped wheels so I had a to buy new forks.

FWIW a maxxis dhf 27.5 2.8 on a 35mm rim at riding pressure is ~20mm smaller OD than a 29er 2.3 hans dampf at riding pressure on a 30mm rim and a 27.5 2.3 hans dampf is 10mm smaller than the dhf on a 30mm rim.

My old 2017 Rockshox Recon boost were labelled as 29/27.5+ and I ran them with 27.5 x 3 and 29 x 2.4 with a mudguard and had loads of room.

My current Suntour Aions are listed as 27.5+ and there's loads of room for 27.5 x 3 but the biggest 29er tyre I can run is a 2.35 and that's tight. The'res loads of room at the sides but clearance around the top of the tyre is minimal. My 27.5 rims are 40mm id and the 29ers are 24mm.

Based on my experience of 2 sets of forks I'd say it depends on the fork model but if in doubt go 29er.
