Hi all, first topic here 🙂
I wondered if anyone had a good suggestion for a good french resort to head to around the 23rd of June? 2 friends and I want to get a good solid weeks riding on and already have these dates booked off.
I've done some research in to morzine / les gets / Tignes and unfortunately learnt a lot if their lift systems open the following week to the one which we have arranged off.
We are looking for XC/DH, with a couple of us having full sus bikes, and the other a mid range hard tail.
I didn't think this week would be particularly cold or cloudy so didn't foresee lifts being closed! Any advice on particular resorts or timings etc would be a great help and much appreciated.

Ah I was considering riding Portes du Soleil too as I hear their XC / non super hardcode DH tracks are great.
Have you been before? Do you know whether the lifts that run in Morzine allow much easy riding of Portes du Soleil area?

It has highlighted that to be honest, that type of DH jumps 24/7 really isn't the type of riding we're looking for.
