Thinking of giving this singlespeeding lark a go. Have a chumba hx setup to 1x10 at the moment with a lovely Middleburn 32t ring. I've got some nice DT Swiss 370 hubs, is it worth getting a wide-based rear cog? Any tips or links to bargainous parts appreciated.

Wide based cogs are definitely worth the extra cost to save wrecking the splines.
