My gf and i have decided that our holiday this year is going to be 2 weeks in the Alps with some of the time spent staying with her sister in Geneva. While i am happy to take my Orange 5, i am a little concerned about my gf's bike. She ride's a Genesis Altitude with 100mm Reba's, do you think this will cope ok with the riding in the Alps mainly round Les Gets Area or should she hire a full suss? Can anyone else recommend other areas that would be could for riding or some websites with listed trails. Thanks.

There are so many trails with ratings which mean you could get away with that set up comfortably but the really good ones are best enjoyed with a FS (IMO!)

It'll be fine. Most of the trails round Morzine and Les gets can be ridden happily on a hardtail. I've taken a 100mm hardtail out there more times than I've ridden full-suss. Even most of the DH runs can be rolled down.
