I'm looking for a 29er Hardtail with slack head angle. Stanton Sherpa or Cotic Solaris fit the bill. I've also added Yelli Screamy and Chromag Rootdown to the shortlist. Has any one run a Singular Swift on a 120mm fork to alter the head angle? Has to be an XL as I'm 6ft 7in and all legs. Any other ideas? Has anyone got a frame for sale to match these requirements?

Yeah already ruled the Bigwig out. I'm liking the idea of being able to go 27.5+ one the Cotic and Stanton too! Just can't find any for sale in XL!

I'm 6'3 and ride a large Solaris

Would have preferred an XL but they weren't making them at the time. XL Solaris would be ace!

At 6ft7 but all legs he probably doesn't need an especially long frame, just taller.

gixernick - do you want long, or tall? How high would you have your bars? many long frame are quite low at the front so would that be an issue?

Im only 6ft4 and my XXL surly is 22" seat tube - bit tall, very long - good, low at the front - needs a chunk of spacers and riser bar.

Being tall, some of the short chainstay bikes will put the saddle way back above the rear axle and give you a very light front end. I'm the same height and found most of the slacker 29ers to be quite short on reach and ended up with too much weight too far back for me.
