I'd like to get the brakes to bite a bit earlier. Is it just a matter of pushing the pistons out and adding a more fluid into the sytem?

You'll get less lever travel but may suffer from cher-ching cher-ching with new pads.

The SLX/Zee actually have the same free stroke adjust mechanism as the more expensive brakes inside - just not the screw on the outside.

Can't find the original thread, but this is a good start
