Many people on the internet claiming that adidas come up small, but as they own 5.10 are the sizes comparable?
e.g. I'm size 11 feet and wear size 11 5.10s, do I want the 11 or 12 in the adidas?
I find them, a little bit, smaller. Not sure if it's the size, or that they are a slimmer fit. It's not much, difference between normal, and thin socks.
I’m a size 10 and wear size 10 Five Tens and Adidas Terex. I have slim feet if that makes any difference
I have size 9 Five10s and size 9 Adidas. Both fit well, if anything the Adidas are easier to get on.
i wear size 9.5 5-10 and had a pair of terrex sls in 9.5, fitted great, quality wasn't though as they came apart after 2 months of just wearing them to work, never even saw a bike pedal, they were returned for a refund as suggested by AdidasUk, i'd have had a replacement as they were really comfy and it could have been a one off manufacturing fault. i'd have been willing to take a risk on but they sold out of my size and I don't like the look or price of the new design.
I am 49.5 in terrex and 5-10, I can't recall if they match up also in uk sizes. I find adidas running shoes quite narrow and i avoid them, but the terrex forefoot is pretty broad and roomy.
I wear size 9.5 Five Ten Freeriders so ordered the same size Terrex Trail Cross in the recent Adidas sale. However, they are a tiny bit small so I have had to return them. Now got a size 10 on order from JD Sports as Adidas had sold out.
Wear Size 42 in Addidas Terrex also wear size 42 in Lake.
Both known for being narrow fits
Nike 42s are like boats on me.
Usually a 42 with wide feet.
Five Tens are 42 and fit perfectly.
Don't have any Terrex riding shoes, but have some trail running ones which I need to size up to 43.5 to get the width, and my Terrex walking boots are 44.5 to allow for thicker socks
So, yes (for me at least), Terrex come up a bit small for a given size.
10 in Freeriders, 10 in Trail Cross here. never given it much thought
Thanks all, even if there's not quite a consensus.
I will try the 11, unless I can find some cheap Freeriders, in which case I'll be dull and stick with what I know.
