The 'Snakeskin EVO' Hans Dampf I ordered off Evans turned out to be Addix soft and they seem very soft indeed.  Are they going to be worn out in a few rides?  They're 26 too which makes it worse.

Schwalbe claim the durability of the soft compound is 50% better than the old trailstar compound so i doubt you will wear it out any time soon.

I had a set of MM in addix soft and they still looked brsnd new after a few uplift days and a month of riding my local trails

I’ve got an old Trailstar Snakeskin Dampf on a 26er wheel that was used extensively but hasn’t been ridden in 4 years. After about a year of weekly trail riding in Guisborough and the Peaks it looked as worn as you’d expect a softish grippy tyre to look and the edge knobs were starting to give up/tear off.  This is pretty normal for Schwalbes, Strava superstars and Enduro pros will tend to destroy them quicker, as you might expect. Particularly, hard/fast/deep leaning in corners will tend to result in edge knobs tearing long before the main tread is worn.  Apparently the Addix are a little better in this regard but it still happens.
