Just wondered if anyone new how to do this.
I have measured the oil and its below the minimum so I need to add some. The manual says measure the oil in the right fork but do I just put oil in the right fork or both?
The left fork contains the coil etc
I have no experience with suspension as my previous bike was a GT rigid frame
These shocks are about 9 years old so hopefully someone will have had some experience with them in the past.
Anyone??
well, the manual only mentions checkign oil in right leg (as this is where the damping is done). Given the age of the forks I'd be emptying the old oil out and then putting new in.
Cheers wwaswas, is the oil just for damping? scuse my ignorance.
I will replace the oil as there's only a bit in anyway
well, it lubricates as well but as the grease ports are there to keep the seals lubricated so 'mostly' the oil's just for damping.
