I wish to add a bottle cage to my Nomad for local loops so I don't need to carry hydration pack all the time.
Looking at the seat post mount setup, but I like to carry a saddle pack so not sure if this will foul the mount?

Any suggestions on the best way to add a bottle?

Just stick one in a jersey pocket. Sounds like it'd be a hassle, but it's actually fine.

Failing that, you get strap-on mounts a bit like jubilee clips, I used one on my prophet.

Like these:

I also have a small platypus bottle - it's like a camelback bladder but about 500ml and has a regular bottle top on it. Fits in a pocket quite nicely. I got it for taking water up the hill when DHing but it works well in a jersey pocket too.

yeah I've been using a foldable bottle, like a Caprisun pack, but it gets too hot in my jersey pocket.
