Bought an item for my bike from Activesport website, which according to their website was in stock.
After a month and numerous emails, the part finally arrived.
I went to fit the part only to find they had sent the wrong item.
Tried calling them no answer and when I email get an automated response saying that they are working remotely.
Has anybody else had any issues with Activesport.co.uk?

😀
Think i've still got some items outstanding from an order i placed with them about 10 years ago.
Are they still in business!!?? 🙂
Activesport? Was that Dave Hinde? or was it the one in Buxton? Ah yes it's Mark Anthony in Buxton. Nice enough shop when you go in but not a great rep for online orders
Got a oneup dropper from them the other week via eBay. Fast delivery and no issues.
I bought something off them via ebay a few months ago - didn't realise who the seller was until I got the confirmation email, but fortunately it was really quick delivery and just what I needed.
Not had an issue per se. But I called them up to check stock of an item which was showing on their website (no one else showing stock). Guy was nice enough, confirmed it was in stock but would be 10-15 days delivery. I asked about collection as I'm only down the road, to which I got a very sharp and flat NO! Asked about collecting it from the shop instead. Again.. No!
He got a bit defensive when I queried if they actually had the item. It didn't help when I asked even if it was going to take 10-15 days to arrive with me, could an employee actually lay his hands on it in the warehouse today.
In the end it was a NO from me.
There's only 2 bike companies I'll never shop with again and Mark Anthony Bikes/Activesport is one of them. It's not just the lies, it's the shitty basic level of the lies. I don't object to a well crafted, plausible lie but contradicting yourself or plucking random excuses out of the air is an insult to that artform.
Just used them for the first time and they were very good.I ordered a front Hope RX4 caliper off their website which arrived quickly.I still wanted a rear and after an exchange of emails they found me a rear very quickly when everyone else was saying they were out of stock (thank you Activesports).
Can’t complain at service like that and no I have no connection to shop or proprietor.
Great shop until you have issues then they can be quite rude and confrontational.
as with Dave Hinde, I'd use their ebay shop (assume they still have one) and deffo use a hassle-free refundable payment
They are horrendous. Last year I rang them to confirm an item was in stock. Purchased online, it took about 3 weeks to arrive, constant fibbing by email even to the point of saying the courier had got all the tracking wrong as it showed how late it was despatched.
It may 'only' be three weeks, but when you've got brand new bike waiting for a specific part and is sitting there waiting to be ridden whilst you've got two weeks off work, it's incredibly frustrating.
Dave Hinde and Mark Anthony both shops and sites I'd used with no problems, but they've certainly got a reputation.
I ordered a fox 36 airshaft and a few other little bits about 3 weeks ago all came within 3 days.
