Looking for a B&B or reasonably priced hotel that folk could recommend. It can't be in the Peebles/Innerleithen area as it'll conflict with the start of the tour of Britain. Thinking Newton Stewart area?
Edit: Won't share in a bunkhouse or dorm, so Marthroown of Mabie is out.

can't go too far wrong with kippford caravan park. from cheap vans to luxury lodges with hot tubs. Its quiet, not full of chavs. Dont' mind bikers and bikes and an easy walk to the pub on the coast. Less than a mile on the bike and you're on dalbeattie forest trails, 25 mins from mabie and most importantly not too far from kirroughtree either.
