That is a big hardness number they've quoted (although its quoted as micro hardness), its twice as hard as an HSS drill bit.
Anyone feeling flush enough to be a guinea pig? First sram chainring on the KSL lasted 1200miles, the burgtec one thats on there has done 600 and is toast (chain is out at 1.0 - mileage is 1000ish and the cassette must be on 2500miles+, both were found in the spares box)

They are spendy but I paid €100 for a Wolftooth Stainless 32 tooth NW ring. Its faultless.
