Ok i'm not going to name names but I need to vent!!

The girlfriends bike broke when we were in the Alps a few weeks ago. Firstly the rear shock lost damping and rebound (2010 RP23 BV) and a bolt snapped off one of the axles within the suspension mechanism.

Sarah weighs 8st and is not hard on her bikes, the frame was bought 9 mts ago as its her 'bigger' bike its not used on a weekly basis just when we go off on bigger days (this is the first alps trip with this particular bike). The RRP on this frame alone is £2k

So, we phone the shop (who are also the distributor) and explain the situation. We are asked to provide pics of the axle and to return the shock. Both are provided and they send a replacement axle out - 2 days later the axle arrives but its the wrong one.

This is reported, I send a pic of the frame with a big arrow pointing out which axle needs replacing - We are told that another one is on its way. 1 week later this axle has not arrived, Sarah calls to find out what is going on and if they have tested the shock. Shock not tested yet and axle has not been sent. 2 days later we call again, no axle and no update on the shock.

2 Days later we call again, the shock has been tested and something is not right - Sarah is told that the shock will be packaged and sent to MoJo under warranty.

2 days later, still no axle but we get a package. Rather than send the shock to Mojo we have had the shock sent to us in error!!!

Make a call, told that it must be an error and that we now need to send to Mojo ourselves and explain the issue. Great.

Come home from work this evening, an axle has arrived, its the same axle as what was sent previously..... Still the wrong axle.

I can't believe it....

That did cross my mind 🙂

close (not geographically though).

We have previously been Stif'd, but they came up trumps and gave my mrs a new Blur LT2 with loads of bling on, they really sorted us out after the dreadful service we received (they have been excellent since).

The first and last time I used Stif was for a new Proflex 856, came with no rebound damping and the worst customer service ever.
